Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

KMFG Solutions Pty Ltd (Reg. 2026/486422/07), based at 3248 Romania Crescent, Northriding, Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa, is the "responsible party" for the personal information described in this policy, as defined under POPIA. If you have questions about this policy or your information, contact us at admin@kmfg.co.za or 065 988 2436.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information only where you choose to give it to us, or where it's needed to run this website. This includes:

  • Quote request / contact form: first name, surname, email address, phone number, service required, and the project details you type into the message field.
  • WhatsApp, phone, or email contact: whatever information you share with us directly through these channels.
  • Project gallery: photographs of completed projects, which may include the general location or suburb of a project. We do not publish clients' names, exact addresses, or other identifying details alongside gallery images without permission.
  • Website usage data: automatically collected analytics such as pages visited, general location (city-level, derived from IP address), device/browser type, and referral source, via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (see Section 5).

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or service.
  • To communicate with you about your project via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
  • To keep basic business and accounting records as required by law.
  • To understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.
  • To protect the website from spam and abuse (via Google reCAPTCHA).

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal information on the basis of your consent (when you submit the contact form), and our legitimate business interest in responding to enquiries and operating this website.

5. Third parties and service providers

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our business. Your information may pass through:

  • Google (Sheets, reCAPTCHA, Analytics): contact form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet; reCAPTCHA helps block bot spam; Analytics gives us anonymised visitor statistics.
  • Meta (Pixel): helps us understand the effectiveness of our Facebook/Instagram advertising, using anonymised, aggregated data.
  • Vercel: our website hosting provider.
  • Cloudinary: our image hosting provider for the project gallery.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.

6. Cookies

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to recognise repeat visits and measure site performance. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; this won't affect your ability to browse the site or contact us.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry and for our business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to any legal obligation we may have to keep it.
  • Object to how we process your information, or withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we've handled your information improperly.

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@kmfg.co.za. The Information Regulator can be reached at justice.gov.za/inforeg.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, in line with what's appropriate for a small business handling contact and quote enquiries.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
